Tensions flared within the cabinet of Ikosi-Isheri Local Council Development Area (LCDA) in Kosofe over the weekend, as council leadership under Princess Samiat Bada conspicuously omitted celebrating Hon. Kehinde Fatoki, Supervisor for Environment, on his birthday.

Fatoki, who turned a year older on January 12, was notably absent from the council’s tradition of honoring cabinet members and political leaders on their special days.

The council’s failure to acknowledge his birthday has fueled speculations of a deepening rift within the leadership.

According to findings by KosofePost, Fatoki’s discreet consultations to succeed Princess Bada as the next council chairman may have contributed to the snub.

Sources allege that his political ambitions have created tension within the cabinet, leading to his exclusion from public celebrations by the chairman and her media team.

Despite the council’s silence, Fatoki’s family, friends, and supporters stepped in to celebrate him, sending heartfelt congratulatory messages that brightened his day.
