The All Progressives Congress (APC) Youth Leader for Kosofe Local Government Chapter, Omokhudu Alufohai, has denounced the emergence of splinter groups within the party’s youth wing. In a statement titled “APC YOUTH – Strong and Reliable” issued on Monday, Alufohai called on party youths to remain united and loyal to the APC’s core values.
“Kosofe APC Youth is united and strong. Unfortunately, some individuals are attempting to create division within our ranks by forming groups like Justice Forum Youth and Mandate Youth,” Alufohai said.
According to him, the state party secretariat has declared these forums unrecognized, urging youths to steer clear of the factions. He emphasized that the groups neither reflect the aspirations of the Kosofe APC youth nor align with the party’s mission.
“We urge all Kosofe APC youths to remain loyal to the party and ignore these divisive tactics. The state secretariat has instructed that no one should participate in these forums, as they do not represent the vibrant youths of our great party,” he added.
Omokhudu, who also serves as the Senior Special Assistant (SSA) on Special Duties to the Executive Chairman of Kosofe Local Government, reassured members of the party’s collective strength and urged continued unity.
“APC youth is one, and we will remain united. Let’s stand together and maintain the unity of our party,” he concluded.
