The Afenifere National Youths Council has raised the alarm over the abduction of its National President, Prince Eniola Joseph Ojajuni, in Abuja. The council, in a statement on Wednesday, described the incident as distressing, revealing that the kidnappers have demanded a ₦100 million ransom for his release.
According to Abiodun Aderohunmu, the National Secretary of the council, Prince Ojajuni was shot in the buttock during the abduction on Tuesday. His current medical condition remains uncertain, heightening concerns over his well-being.
“We are deeply concerned about his safety and urge the kidnappers to release him unharmed,” Aderohunmu stated.
Prince Ojajuni is a prominent advocate for youth empowerment and development in Nigeria, making his abduction a matter of national concern.
The council has called on Nigerian authorities to act swiftly to secure his safe return while urging the public to provide any information that could aid in his rescue.
