Students from Agboyi-Ketu LCDA’s primary schools recently competed in a high-stakes quiz competition aimed at fostering academic excellence.
The event, organized by Councillor Saheed Omogbolahan, popularly known as Elewedu, brought together ten schools, each vying for the top spot. After a rigorous round of preliminaries, five schools— Irepodun, Alapere, Agboyi, Apostolic, and Ajelogo—were eliminated, leaving the remaining contenders to battle for victory.

In a moment of triumph, Arowosegbe Primary School clinched the championship title, with Anglican Primary School securing second place and Baptist Primary School finishing third. The event hall erupted in celebration as the winners were cheered on for their remarkable performances.
Speaking at the event, Councillor Omogbolahan emphasized the importance of academic motivation. “This competition is designed to inspire our pupils to dream big and strive for excellence. I urge them to keep up their hard work and continue making us proud,” he stated.

Mrs. Olayinka Olufemi, the Special Adviser to the Chairman on Women’s Affairs, reinforced the impact of such initiatives. “Education shapes futures. Competitions like this not only encourage learning but also prepare these children for greater opportunities ahead,” she remarked.
With the success of this year’s edition, the community now eagerly awaits the next instalment of the competition, inspired by the brilliance and dedication of its young scholars.
