The soon-to-be-commissioned Agboyi-Ketu ICT Hub has received a major boost following a visit by a delegation from the German Centre for Migration and Development (GCMG), signaling a promising collaboration to equip local youth with essential soft skills.

The visit, which followed a productive roundtable discussion between local officials and the German delegation, underscored a shared commitment to enhancing the employability of young people in the community.

Impressed by the facility’s state-of-the-art setup, the GCMG team expressed enthusiasm for the ICT Hub’s potential to drive positive change. Mayor Dele Oshinowo, Executive Chairman of Agboyi-Ketu LCDA, described the partnership as a transformative step for the youth.

“This partnership is a game-changer for our youth. By providing access to international-standard training in soft skills, we are opening doors for bright minds to enhance their capabilities and future prospects,” Oshinowo stated.

Designed to serve as a center for digital education and soft skills development, the ICT Hub will offer training aligned with global standards, preparing young people for a rapidly evolving job market.

As the commissioning of the ICT Hub draws closer, local leaders remain committed to fostering innovation and growth, positioning Agboyi-Ketu as a rising hub for digital excellence.
