Councillor Elewedu paid a consultation visit to Pastor Efunkoya, Chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Agboyi-Ketu Chapter, in a strategic move to bolster his chairmanship ambition. The meeting, which took place at the cleric’s residence in Owode-Ajegunle, was marked by prayers and discussions on community development.
During the visit, Councillor Elewedu emphasized the need for divine guidance as he prepares to succeed Mayor Dele Oshinowo as Chairman of Agboyi-Ketu Local Council Development Area (LCDA). He pledged to lead with integrity, unity, and a focus on improving the welfare of residents.

The duo discussed pressing issues within the LCDA, including sustainable development and infrastructure enhancement. Elewedu commended the achievements of Mayor Oshinowo’s administration and vowed to build on them, particularly in improving road networks and ensuring durable surfaces for motorists and pedestrians in Owode-Ajegunle and other areas.
“As the political season unfolds, my mission is not just about campaigning but about bringing hope, unity, and progress to our community,” Elewedu said. “Under my leadership, every resident—regardless of background—will have a voice and a stake in our shared prosperity.”
Councillor Elewedu expressed appreciation for the support and prayers from the community, reaffirming his commitment to a brighter future for Agboyi-Ketu LCDA.
