Agboyi-Ketu Local Council Development Area (LCDA) Chairman, Mayor Dele Oshinowo, has assured residents that the neighboring Ikosi-Isheri LCDA remains well-governed under the leadership of its Chairperson, Mrs. Samiat Bada.

Oshinowo’s reassurance came in response to a social media comment from an X (formerly Twitter) user who playfully suggested that he should be “loaned” to Ikosi-Isheri to replicate the development strides witnessed in Agboyi-Ketu. Responding to the remark, Oshinowo stated, “Ikosi is in safe hands.”

The conversation was triggered by a recent update on the Okubadejo-Irawo Phase 2 road construction project, where significant progress was showcased in a shared video. The clip highlighted ongoing groundwork leveling and covered drainage installation for the 950-metre road, aimed at enhancing mobility in the area.

Residents widely praised the infrastructural progress, with many commending the chairman for his dedication to quality projects. Reacting to the positive feedback, Oshinowo emphasized, “We take pride in every project!”

With Oshinowo’s continued efforts in Agboyi-Ketu and the assurance of competent leadership in Ikosi-Isheri, residents are hopeful for sustained development across both LCDAs.
