Olubukola Selimat Adekoya (O.S.A.), an aspirant for the Ward E councillorship seat in Mende, Maryland, on the platform of All Progressives Congress, has extended the application deadline for the Scholarship for Special Needs Children, allowing more families to benefit from the initiative.

The scholarship, designed for children aged 3 to 21 with special needs, provides educational support to promote inclusivity in Kosofe Local Government Area. Initially set to close earlier, the application period has now been extended to March 26, 2025.

Announcing the extension, Adekoya reiterated her commitment to education and an inclusive society.

“This initiative is about ensuring every child, regardless of their challenges, has access to quality education,” she said. “I encourage eligible families to take advantage of this opportunity.”

Interested applicants can visit www.bracefoundation.org for more details and to submit applications.

The extension aligns with broader efforts to improve educational accessibility for children with special needs in Lagos State.
