As preparations intensify for the upcoming Local Government Chairmanship and Councilorship elections, supporters of Honourable Kafilat Ogbara, the lawmaker representing Kosofe Federal Constituency and a member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) National Executive Committee (NEC), have raised concerns over the circulation of unauthorized lists of party agents.

In an official statement, Ogbara’s supporters cautioned party members and the general public against fraudulent lists allegedly being compiled without consulting relevant stakeholders. The APC leadership emphasized that no directive has been issued for the compilation of polling agents’ lists at this time, adding that neither Party Chairmen nor Council Chairmen have been instructed to carry out such an exercise.

Reassuring party members, Ogbara’s supporters stated that all official directives regarding polling agents will be communicated through recognized party channels. They urged members of the public to disregard any unauthorized lists and report any suspicious activity to the appropriate authorities.

A political insider, who spoke to Kosofe Post on the condition of anonymity, claimed that recently compiled lists across polling units have excluded Ogbara’s loyalists, raising concerns about possible political maneuvering. Some party members suspect that the omission may be deliberate, further fueling tensions within the party’s internal structure.

The statement concluded with a call for vigilance and unity, urging party members to remain informed and cautious against misinformation as the election approaches.
