Adetutu Umar Declares Bid for Councillorship in Orile Oworo

Mrs. Umar Adetutu Rashidat, a dedicated member of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has formally declared her intention to contest for the councillorship position of Ward B, Orile Oworo, in Kosofe Local Government Area, Lagos State.

Speaking in an exclusive interview with Kosofe Post on Friday, Adetutu reaffirmed her loyalty to the party and her passion for community development. She highlighted the urgent need for improved infrastructure and development in Oworonshoki, which she believes has lagged behind other wards.

“As a proud member of Concerned Youth for APC Victory, I have actively supported the party before, during, and after the last election. My passion for change is driven by the need to improve our community,” said Adetutu, who holds a Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE).

She also stressed the importance of fair representation, particularly for women in leadership. “It’s crucial to ensure that women have equal opportunities in governance. Supporting my candidacy will bring a much-needed female voice to our local government, fostering inclusivity and diversity,” she stated.

Mrs. Umar Adetutu Rashidat is now calling on party members and leaders to support her bid to become the APC flagbearer for Ward B, Oworonshoki. She has pledged a progressive and inclusive agenda aimed at driving sustainable development in the community.
