Lagos State lawmaker, Hon. Sanni Ganiu Okanlawon, representing Kosofe Constituency 1 at the Lagos State House of Assembly, has expressed appreciation to well-wishers for their support and goodwill during his recent birthday celebration.
In a statement to Kosofe Post on Saturday, Hon. Okanlawon acknowledged the overwhelming messages, gifts, and admiration received from family, friends, political associates, party leaders, and supporters.
Quoting the philosopher Marcus Tullius Cicero, he described gratitude as “not only the greatest of virtues but the parent of all others,” emphasizing his deep appreciation for the outpouring of goodwill. He reassured supporters of his commitment to upholding his values and striving for greater service.
“Thank you for making my diamond natal day a big, fun, and joyous one,” he said, signing off with the Yoruba phrase, “Eniyan ni aso temi”, meaning “People are my covering.”
