The ongoing controversy surrounding the suspension of the Special Adviser on Boundary Matters to Kosofe Local Government, Hon. Ganiu Oyebanjo, has drawn further reactions, with Engineer Olusola Emmanuel Adedayo, publisher of MOSCHINOBLOG, weighing in on the matter.

How Allegations and Petitions Are Handled in Nigeria
In response to claims made by Oyebanjo in a recent press statement, Adedayo questioned the credibility of allegations involving financial misconduct within the local government. “If the allegation is true, could Moyo really have taken ₦50 million from the council’s treasury, let alone given it to someone accused of blackmailing him? My conclusion is NO, it’s not possible,” he stated.
Adedayo also challenged accusations that GOCO, an official within the administration, had forcefully removed council documents from the chairman’s office. He cited the presence of security personnel and CCTV surveillance, questioning why no video evidence had been presented to support the claim. “If a burglary had truly occurred, Moyo and his media aides would have circulated it widely on social media,” he argued.
Dismissing assertions that GOCO acted as a whistleblower, Adedayo suggested that the dispute was more about personal interests than exposing corruption. “GOCO was part of Moyo’s government. This seems more like a case of clashing personal interests rather than an act of exposing corruption,” he noted.
In a bid to de-escalate tensions, Adedayo called on party leaders to step in and mediate. “The GAC leaders should bring both parties together to resolve their differences so that our great party, the APC, can have a stronger showing in the upcoming council elections,” he urged.
The controversy has continued to generate reactions within Kosofe Local Government, with stakeholders closely watching how the situation unfolds.
