A chairmanship aspirant for Agboyi-Ketu Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Babatunde Muyideen Durosimi (BMD), has unveiled a comprehensive Health and Education Agenda aimed at improving the well-being and future prospects of residents.

The proposed blueprint outlines key reforms in healthcare and education, with a focus on accessibility and quality enhancement across the LCDA.

On healthcare, BMD has pledged to upgrade Primary Health Care Centres in all wards, introduce a community health insurance scheme, and deploy mobile clinics to extend medical services to underserved areas. The agenda also includes free antenatal and child health programs, preventive health campaigns, and free screenings for both youth and the elderly.

In the education sector, the aspirant plans to revamp public schools, offer scholarships and bursaries, and launch a free school feeding program to support learning among children. Additionally, teacher training and welfare will be improved, while vocational training centers and adult literacy programs will be introduced to equip residents with practical skills.

“This is more than a campaign promise—it’s a commitment to build a healthier, smarter, and more prosperous Agboyi-Ketu,” BMD said, urging residents and community leaders to support the initiative for sustainable development.

His agenda has been met with interest from stakeholders, who see it as a potential pathway to addressing critical gaps in the local healthcare and education sectors.
