“Prince Bidemi Oludayo Akintunde Stainless, a chairmanship aspirant for Ikosi-Isheri LCDA under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), shared his background, experience, residency status, and reasons why he is the most suitable candidate for the council seat in a brief interview with Kosofe Post.”

PBA: As you already know, my name is Prince Bidemi Oludayo Akintunde also known as Stainless. I am a very active member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) from the days of Alliance for Democracy AD. An Asiwaju loyalist 100%. I am a graduate of Business Management from Arden University, England.
I have over 26 years of work experience across lower, mid-senior, senior, and management levels with various organisations both in Nigeria and Diaspora. These include sectors such as banking, manufacturing, production, healthcare, sales and marketing, oil and gas, as well as safety and security. I also manage my own businesses here in Nigeria.
I am currently aspiring for the position of Ikosi-Isheri LCDA Chairman in 2025. This will be my third time contesting for the same position and for the same LCDA. The first time I aspired was in 2011, and the second time was in 2021; on both occasions, I was asked to step down in favour of the party’s chosen candidates.

KP: How prepared are you for the forthcoming Ikosi-Isheri LCDA chairmanship election?

PBA: I am extremely prepared for the forthcoming Ikosi-Isheri LCDA chairmanship election. I have been diligently working on my campaign strategies, consulting with the party leaders and members, engaging with the residents of Ikosi Isheri, listening to their needs and concerns. I am passionate about bringing positive change to the community and fully committed to making a meaningful difference.

KP: As one of the most qualified and prominent contestants for the council seat, some critics have pointed out that you reside in London, not in Ikosi-Isheri, Kosofe, Lagos. What is your response to this concern?

PBA: I want to assure everyone that I currently live in Lagos, Nigeria, not in London. I have been fully back in Lagos for the past few months. While it’s true that I spent some time in London previously, that experience broadened my perspective on community development.

I have many friends and private organisations in the diaspora who are willing to contribute to our progress with their expertise and personal resources. My dedication to the people of Ikosi-Isheri LCDA remains unwavering.

I have been actively involved in local politics and community events for many years.

KP: Do you have any message for the residents of Ikosi-Isheri LCDA?
PBA: I want to express my sincere dedication to serving them. As an aspirant, a candidate and the LCDA Chairman to be very soon, I promise to prioritize their needs, listen to their voices, and work tirelessly to improve the quality of life in our community. Together, we can build a better Ikosi-Isheri for everyone.

My vision for Ikosi-Isheri LCDA is centered on promoting equality, inclusiveness, development, and maintaining an open-door policy to ensure that every resident’s voice is heard and valued. I am deeply committed to working tirelessly to transform our community into a place where every individual thrives and prospers.
