In a moment of pride and inspiration for the Ikosi-Isheri Local Council Development Area (LCDA) in Kosofe, Lagos, Hon. Rosemary Olayemi Oshoffa, a councilorship aspirant for Ward C, has been widely celebrated following her graduation from the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN).

Hon. Oshoffa, fondly known in the community as LAROSH, earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Peace and Conflict Resolution, a feat that has drawn commendations from political figures, religious leaders, women and youth groups, and numerous community stakeholders.
Leading the wave of tributes was her daughter, Ibidapo Fashola, who praised her mother’s unwavering resolve and described the milestone as a source of inspiration to many.
“Your graduation is a testament to your unwavering dedication, unrelenting passion, and unshakeable resolve,” Fashola said. “At an age when many might consider slowing down, you’ve chosen to push boundaries and pursue your dreams. You are a shining example of the power of determination and the human spirit.”
She further emphasized the relevance of her mother’s course of study, noting that her academic pursuit in Peace and Conflict Resolution reflects a strong commitment to societal harmony. “Your newfound knowledge and skills will undoubtedly enable you to make a positive impact in your community and beyond,” she added.
The achievement has resonated beyond her immediate family, with members of the local political and social landscape hailing Hon. Oshoffa’s determination as commendable, especially as she continues to actively participate in community development and political engagement.
