The former Executive Secretary of Ikosi-Isheri Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Hon. Afolabi Kazeem ABK, has applauded the current administration led by Princess Samiat Bada for its continued investment in infrastructure, particularly in road construction and rehabilitation.
Kazeem gave the commendation during the commissioning of two major road projects within the LCDA, a ceremony attended by prominent figures, including Hon. Femi Saheed; former lawmaker for Kosofe Constituency 2, Dr. Jibayo Adeyeye; and Hon. Lookman Ogungbefun. The dignitaries stood in for Hon. Kunle Soname, founder of Value Jet and Bet9ja.
The newly completed projects include:
Oluwaseun Road in Agiliti Ward F, whose renovation is projected to improve local connectivity and stimulate commercial activity.

Olanrewaju Road, spanning from Omojuwa Street to Adebimpe Road in Ward E, upgraded to ease traffic flow and enhance accessibility in the area.
Speaking at the event, Hon. Afolabi Kazeem praised the LCDA’s leadership for prioritizing critical infrastructure and urged community members to safeguard the newly rehabilitated roads. He cautioned against converting roadways into workshops or blocking them with unauthorized structures.

“These roads belong to all of us,” he said. “Residents must take ownership and ensure they are preserved for public use.”
