Honourable Rosemary Olayemi Oshoffa, popularly known as LAROSH, has officially declared her intention to contest for a councilorship seat in the Ikosi-Isheri Local Council Development Area (LCDA) under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Oshoffa, a prominent figure in grassroots politics, took a decisive step in her political journey by obtaining the APC nomination form, signaling her readiness to participate in the party’s primary election scheduled for May 10, 2025.

Her entry into the race has generated political buzz within the LCDA, with observers describing her as both a familiar face and a formidable contender. Party insiders suggest that if the APC maintains adherence to its constitution and internal democratic processes, Oshoffa stands a strong chance of emerging as the party’s flagbearer.
If successful in the primaries, LAROSH will likely be one of the APC candidates contesting in the July 12 Local Government Councilorship and Chairmanship elections, as announced by the Lagos State Independent Electoral Commission (LASIEC).
Her declaration has already stirred enthusiasm among her supporters and introduced a new dynamic to the unfolding political landscape in Ikosi-Isheri.
