Hon. Arigbabuwo Adetunji Yusuf has officially declared his intention to contest for the councilor position in Ward C of Agboyi-Ketu Local Council Development Area (LCDA) under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Yusuf, who unveiled his campaign under the theme “For Better Representation,” received the APC nomination form earlier this week. He pledged to prioritize development, peace, and progress if elected, promising a leadership style rooted in community engagement and responsive governance.

Speaking to supporters, the councilorship hopeful expressed confidence in his vision to uplift the ward through people-centered policies. “This is about giving our people a voice and ensuring no one is left behind,” he said.

Campaign materials featuring Hon. Yusuf in traditional Yoruba attire have already begun circulating, signaling the start of a vigorous push to mobilize support. He has called on residents and party members to rally behind his candidacy, assuring them of a new era of dynamic and inclusive leadership.

Agboyi-Ketu LCDA, one of Lagos State’s densely populated and diverse councils, is expected to witness increased political activity as local government elections approach. Hon. Yusuf’s entry into the race is seen as a boost to the APC’s grassroots consolidation efforts across the state.
