A leading chairmanship aspirant for the Agboyi-Ketu Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Councillor Bashiru Omogbolahan Saheed Elewedu, has congratulated the President of Remo Stars Football Club, Hon. Kunle Soname, on the occasion of his birthday.
In a goodwill message issued on Sunday in Lagos, Elewedu expressed gratitude to God for preserving Soname’s life, describing him as a “visionary architect of modern football management” in Nigeria.
Elewedu, who has garnered widespread endorsements in his bid for the Agboyi-Ketu chairmanship seat, extolled Soname’s contributions to sports development, noting that his achievements have remained a global reference point.
He also lauded Soname’s philanthropic interventions, particularly towards various sports initiatives, saying, “We commend you for your inestimable contributions to the development of sports in Nigeria and your dedication to uncovering the potentials of Nigerian youths through private and corporate sponsorships.”
Speaking on behalf of the people of Agboyi-Ketu, Elewedu prayed for Soname’s continued success and wellbeing, wishing him the grace to further his humanitarian efforts.

Elewedu’s latest public outing comes as he continues to solidify his position as a major contender in the forthcoming Agboyi-Ketu LCDA chairmanship election.
