Lagos Leaders Celebrate Soname on Birthday

Prominent personalities across Lagos State have paid glowing tributes to Hon. Kunle Soname, OFR, on the occasion of his birthday, commending his visionary leadership and remarkable impact across governance, business, and sports development in Nigeria.
Senator Mukhail Adetokunbo Abiru, representing Lagos East Senatorial District, alongside his wife, Mrs. Feyisola Abiru, congratulated Soname, describing him as an outstanding public servant and entrepreneur. They praised his tenure as the former Executive Chairman of Ikosi-Isheri LCDA and celebrated his entrepreneurial milestones, including the founding of Bet9ja, ownership of Portuguese club C.D. Feirense, his investment in nurturing young talents through Remo Stars FC and Beyond Limits FA, as well as his role in the aviation sector with ValueJet.
“As you celebrate this special day, we pray that God blesses you with continued good health, strength, and vision to deepen your impact,” the Abirus said.
Similarly, Mayoress of Ikosi-Isheri LCDA, Princess Samiat Abolanle Bada, described Soname as a “blueprint of visionary leadership” and a mentor who has set enduring standards through his service. “From the streets of Ikosi-Isheri to the commanding heights of Bet9ja and ValueJet, you have carried our banner with pride and excellence,” she said, reaffirming the loyalty of the people of Ikosi-Isheri to his leadership.
Ikosi Isheri Chairmanship Aspirant also joined in the celebration. Toyin Balogun praised Soname’s “trailblazing role” in economic development through job creation and youth empowerment, describing his impact on national growth as “inspiring and invaluable.”
Hon. Adebajo Abiodun Adetunji (Dudu), a chairmanship aspirant for Ikosi-Isheri LCDA, hailed Soname as “an enigma and a progressive political giant,” praying for his continued success and well-being.
