Ambassador Moyosore Badejo, popularly known as MOG — Moyo of Gbagada — has officially declared his intention to contest for the councillorship seat in Ward C, Ifako-Soluyi Araromi, under the Labour Party platform.

Badejo made the declaration on Tuesday after picking up his Expression of Interest and Nomination forms at the party’s state secretariat. He was accompanied by the Kosofe Local Government Party Chairman and the Director of his Campaign Organization.

His campaign is anchored on the SEED Agenda, which focuses on four key areas: Security and Safety, Education and Empowerment, Environmental Sustainability, and Deliberate Dedication to community service.

Speaking during the declaration, Badejo said his ambition goes beyond politics. “This is more than just a political process,” he stated. “It is a reaffirmation of my commitment to serve our people with integrity, vision, and action. Together, we will build a stronger, safer, and more empowered Ward C.”

With the Lagos State local government elections scheduled for July 12, Badejo’s campaign is expected to prioritize sustainable development and effective grassroots representation for the Ifako-Soluyi Araromi community.
