As the month of May begins, frontline chairmanship aspirant for Agboyi-Ketu Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Hon. Babatunde Muyideen Durosimi (BMD), has extended warm greetings to residents, wishing them peace, joy, and prosperity.
In a message to the community, Durosimi expressed optimism that the new month would bring renewed opportunities for growth and development across the LCDA. He also used the opportunity to mark International Workers’ Day, applauding the resilience and commitment of workers in the area.
“Your hard work and dedication to your craft are truly commendable, and I pray that your efforts will be rewarded,” he said, acknowledging workers as key drivers of progress in the local council.
Reflecting on his political aspirations ahead of the forthcoming local government elections, Durosimi reaffirmed his resolve to serve the people with integrity, transparency, and accountability. He emphasized the need to strengthen partnerships with stakeholders to foster unity and accelerate development.
“I am a man of the people, loved by the people, and accepted by all,” Durosimi declared, describing his leadership style as one grounded in humility, empathy, and active community engagement.
He pledged to listen to the concerns of residents and respond decisively to their needs, promising to prioritize economic growth, infrastructure development, and improvements in quality of life if elected.
“With my leadership, Agboyi-Ketu LCDA will experience a new era of growth, development, and prosperity,” he said.
Durosimi concluded by calling on residents to work collectively toward building a better future for all. “I am confident that with your support, we can achieve great things and make our community a better place,” he stated.
He ended the message with prayers for continued blessings upon the people of Agboyi-Ketu.
