Oromidayo Felicitates Residents on Workers’ Day, New Month

Chairmanship aspirant for Ikosi-Isheri Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Oromidayo Balogun, has extended warm greetings to residents of the community in celebration of Workers’ Day and the beginning of a new month.

In a statement issued on Wednesday, Balogun lauded the resilience and dedication of workers within the LCDA, describing them as the “backbone of progress” whose contributions are vital to the development and stability of society.

“Today, on Workers’ Day, we honour the dedication, resilience, and sacrifice of our workers—men and women who build our society with their hands, minds, and hearts,” he said. “Your efforts deserve not only recognition but also strong policies that support growth, dignity, and fair opportunities.”

Balogun also expressed optimism for the month of May, wishing residents peace, progress, and prosperity. He reiterated his vision for a community where hard work is rewarded and every voice is heard.

“Together, we can build a stronger, more inclusive Ikosi-Isheri,” he added.

He concluded his message by reaffirming his commitment to the welfare of residents, as he continues his campaign for the chairmanship position.
