The Publisher of KosofePost, an online newspaper, Abayomi Bilesanmi, popularly known as KOKO, has lauded Comrade Opomulero 1 for his progressive contributions and unwavering support towards the development of KP TV, the platform’s proposed online television initiative.

In a statement issued on Friday, Bilesanmi described Opomulero 1 as an “all-weather, active contributor and client” whose suggestion to integrate an online TV feature into the KosofePost website marked a turning point in the outlet’s digital strategy.

“Opomulero 1 was among the first to advocate for the launch of KP TV on www.kosofepost.com,” Bilesanmi noted, adding that his ideas have significantly influenced the direction of the media platform’s expansion efforts.

Speaking earlier, Comrade Opomulero called for broader engagement through visual media, stating: “KosofePost, it is time to move higher with online KP TV. It is time to begin hosting online discussions — dedicating one day of the week to TV will go a long way. An online live podcast with two guests can be considered for KP. The battle for the soul of Kosofe should not just be fought through typing. We must profile all aspirants, sir.”

During their recent meeting, Bilesanmi shared updates on the progress made so far in developing production content and deploying tools for online live broadcasts. He also highlighted some of the challenges the team is currently navigating.

In response, Comrade Opomulero — widely recognized for his philanthropic interventions — pledged both material and financial support to facilitate the full activation of the KP TV project.

The KosofePost management team expressed appreciation for his voluntary support, describing it as a boost to their vision of advancing sustainable development journalism and fostering civic dialogue through multimedia innovation.
