Hon. Shakiru Adekunle Balogun has congratulated Hon. Adetola Oyedele Abubakar on her emergence as the All Progressives Congress (APC) chairmanship candidate for Agboyi-Ketu Local Council Development Area (LCDA) in the forthcoming local government elections.
In a statement released on Saturday, Balogun described Abubakar’s victory as a testament to her tested leadership, dedication to service, and the confidence reposed in her by the party and the people of Agboyi-Ketu.
“Your victory marks the beginning of a new chapter—one that promises hope, development, and unity for all,” he said.
Balogun also pledged his full support for Abubakar’s candidacy and expressed his commitment to working with her to ensure a successful campaign and effective governance if elected. He affirmed their shared goal of advancing the development of Agboyi-Ketu and delivering purposeful leadership to residents.
“May your path be guided by wisdom and grace, and may your leadership bring lasting impact to our community,” he added.
Balogun’s endorsement is considered a strong boost to Abubakar’s candidacy as the APC intensifies preparations for the local council polls.
