Babatunde Muyideen Durosimi (BMD) has congratulated Hon. Tola Abubakar (née Oyedele) on her emergence as the All Progressives Congress (APC) chairmanship candidate for Agboyi-Ketu Local Council Development Area (LCDA).
In a statement issued on behalf of himself and the BMD Team (Idera Titun-De Clan), Durosimi described the outcome of the party’s primary election as a reflection of APC’s commitment to internal democracy and transparent electoral processes.
“I commend all stakeholders, aspirants, delegates, and party members who participated with dignity and respect for democratic ideals,” Durosimi stated.
He lauded Hon. Abubakar’s long-standing contributions to the community and described her candidacy as one rooted in dedication and grassroots appeal. According to him, her victory signals the people’s trust in her capacity to lead with wisdom, inclusivity, and responsibility.
Durosimi reaffirmed his loyalty to the APC and expressed optimism about the party’s continued delivery of good governance in Agboyi-Ketu LCDA. He pledged his full support for Abubakar’s campaign and urged party members to unite in preparation for the forthcoming council elections.
“We must now work together to build a greater Agboyi-Ketu for all,” he added.
