A former aspirant for the councillorship seat of Ward C in the Ikosi-Isheri Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Hon. Olayemi Oshoffa, popularly known as LAROSH, has broken his silence following the outcome of the All Progressives Congress (APC) primary election.

In a statement issued on Friday and made available to Kosofe Post, Oshoffa expressed gratitude to his supporters and reaffirmed his loyalty to the APC despite not clinching the party’s ticket.

“The APC primary election for the Councillorship of Ward C has been concluded. Though the outcome was not in my favour, I accept it in good faith and in the spirit of party unity,” he said.

Oshoffa congratulated Hon. Deji Osinowo, who emerged as the APC candidate for the ward, urging him to lead with courage and a sense of inclusiveness. “Leadership is about service. Carry everyone along, and let the voices of our people guide your steps,” he advised.

L-R:LAROSH warmly embraced APC Councillor-elect Adedeji Osinowo during a recent reconciliation meeting in Ward C, Ikosi-Isheri LCDA.

She also extended his congratulations to the incumbent council chairperson and APC chairmanship candidate, Princess Samiat Abolanle Bada, commending her for what he described as “dedication, purposeful governance, and performance,” which earned her a second-term ticket.

Reflecting on his campaign journey, Oshoffa described it as an “incredible experience,” thanking supporters and residents of Ward C who rallied behind his vision. “We didn’t just contest—we connected. Your support, sacrifice, and belief in the vision were the driving force behind everything we achieved,” he said.

He further emphasized his continued commitment to community development and the ideals of the APC.

“This is not a loss—it is a transition. I will continue to serve our community and support the APC wherever my contributions can make a difference,” he affirmed.

Hon. Oshoffa urged all residents of Ikosi-Isheri LCDA to support the APC and its candidates in the upcoming local government elections, calling for unity and collective progress.

“Let’s now unite—putting aside any divisions—so we can build a stronger, more inclusive community in Ward C,” he stated.

He concluded his message with prayers for the APC, Ward C, Ikosi-Isheri LCDA, Lagos State, and Nigeria at large.
