In a colourful celebration of love and culture, Grace Onoja and Temitope Bilesanmi were joined in traditional matrimony on Saturday, May 31st, at Owode Ibeshe in Lagos State.

The vibrant ceremony brought together family, friends, and well-wishers to witness the union of the couple in a display rich with cultural heritage, traditional rites, and festive cheer.

Dressed in resplendent traditional attire, the bride, Grace Onoja, dazzled in a custom-made gown that reflected the elegance of her roots. The groom, Temitope Bilesanmi, equally stood out in his regal native wear, embodying the pride and dignity of the occasion.

The event featured hallmark elements of a traditional wedding — the symbolic exchange of gifts between both families, blessings from elders, and the sharing of ceremonial meals — all of which underscored the deep cultural significance of the day.

From the rhythmic drumming and cultural songs to spirited dancing, guests revelled in the atmosphere, celebrating the couple’s love story with joy and admiration. Elders from both families expressed their blessings, urging the newlyweds to build a home anchored in mutual respect, understanding, and cultural values.

The ceremony marked not just the beginning of a marital journey, but also the merging of two families and traditions in an atmosphere filled with love, unity, and jubilation.
