APC France Chapter Visits National Secretary, Senator Ajibola Bashir, for Eid-el-Kabir Celebration in Osogbo

In a demonstration of party solidarity and festive goodwill, members of the France Chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) paid a courtesy visit to the party’s National Secretary, Senator Ajibola Bashir (SRJ), at his Osogbo residence in celebration of the Eid-el-Kabir festival.

The delegation, led by the APC France National Secretary, Akogun Olamikekan Akanni (popularly known as Torino), included executive members and committed party loyalists from the diaspora. The visit was aimed at extending Sallah greetings to Senator Bashir and strengthening ties between the party’s leadership in Nigeria and its chapters abroad.

Speaking on behalf of the delegation, Akogun Akanni praised Senator Bashir for his steadfast support for APC structures outside the country. He emphasised the importance of sustained collaboration between national and diaspora organs of the party to enhance APC’s influence and contributions to national development.

In his response, Senator Bashir expressed appreciation for the visit, describing it as a symbol of unity and commitment to the party’s ideals. He highlighted the values of sacrifice, devotion, and cohesion associated with the Eid-el-Kabir celebration, urging APC members both within and outside Nigeria to remain united and focused on the party’s mission.

The visit featured Islamic prayers, cultural exchanges, and traditional hospitality, as the delegation joined the Bashir family in marking the sacred occasion. The event reaffirmed the enduring bond between the APC’s national leadership and its diaspora chapters.
