Two years after the passing of his beloved sister, Barrister Moruf Lawal, legal consultant to KosofePost, has shared a moving tribute in her honour, reflecting on her enduring legacy and the void her death has left in their family.
Barrister Lawal, a respected legal practitioner known for successfully handling a personal business debt recovery for KosofePost Publisher Bilesanmi Abayomi against Costain West Africa Nigeria, took to his Facebook page on Saturday to commemorate his sister’s memory.
In his heartfelt message, he described his late sister as a paragon of virtue and a binding force in the family.
“Hmm, she was everything a family would not want to miss in a virtuous person,” he wrote.
“- An obedient slave of Allah,
A special sister,
A homemaker who always bonds family together.
However, we lost her two years ago, but her sweet memories have refused to fade away…
She is still sadly missed but fondly remembered.
May we be reunited again in al-Jannatu-l-Firdaus Bi Idhni Llaah, my dear blood sister.”
Barrister Lawal concluded the tribute with a request for prayers, asking friends and well-wishers to recite Suratul Ikhlas in her memory.
The post has since attracted an outpouring of condolences and prayers from members of the Kosofe community and beyond, with many commending his expression of love, grief, and spiritual devotion.
