Hon. Bukola Adedeji, the All Progressives Congress (APC) Chairmanship candidate for Bariga Local Council Development Area (LCDA), cast her vote at exactly 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, July 12, 2025, as Lagos State holds its local government elections.
Adedeji exercised her franchise at Polling Unit 008, Ward F in Bariga, joining other voters in fulfilling their civic responsibility.
Speaking shortly after voting, the APC candidate commended the electorate for their peaceful and orderly conduct, noting that the atmosphere at her polling unit reflected the maturity and commitment of Bariga residents to democratic processes.

“I commend the people of Bariga for coming out early and conducting themselves peacefully,” Adedeji said. “I am confident that with the support we’ve garnered across wards and communities, the APC will emerge victorious.”
Throughout the campaign period, Adedeji has enjoyed significant grassroots backing and has promised to deepen development efforts and strengthen local governance structures if elected.
Voting continues across Bariga LCDA and other parts of Lagos State under tight security, with election observers monitoring the process amid keen public interest.
