Oshoffa Congratulates Bada on Re-Election as Chairman of Ikosi-Isheri LCDA

Honourable Oshoffa Olayemi Rosemary, fondly known as LAROSH, has extended warm congratulations to the Executive Chairman of Ikosi-Isheri Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Princess Samiat Bada, following her re-election in the July 12, 2025, local government elections.

In a statement made available to Kosofe Post on Tuesday morning, Hon. Oshoffa lauded Bada’s victory as a true reflection of her exemplary grassroots leadership, unwavering commitment to service, and deep connection with the people of Ikosi-Isheri.

“Na correct win be this for Ikosi-Isheri LCDA!” Oshoffa declared in a celebratory tone. “Your hard work, love for di people, and strong leadership don show again. We dey proud of you! More grace, more power, more progress!”

Describing the election outcome not just as a political success, but as a reaffirmation of purposeful and community-driven governance, Hon. Oshoffa noted:

“Your victory is not just a win at the polls – it’s a win for the people, for inclusive leadership, and for the progress of Ikosi-Isheri. Your strength, vision, and heart for the community continue to inspire us all.”

She also congratulated the newly elected councilors across the LCDA, including Hon. Adedeji Osinowo of Ward C, Hon. Muyibat Balogun of Ward G, and five other victorious candidates who emerged from the council’s wards.

Oshoffa concluded her message with renewed optimism for the future, emphasizing the growing influence and significance of women in politics:

“More grace. More wins. More impact! Proud of you.”

The July 12 elections, conducted across Lagos State’s 20 Local Governments and 37 LCDAs, recorded victories for numerous incumbents and fresh candidates, with citizen expectations high for improved governance and accountability.
