Remo Stars Football Club has announced plans to host a grand felicitation ceremony in honour of its players and technical crew following the club’s historic victory in the 2024/2025 Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) season.
The Ikenne-based club clinched the NPFL title after an impressive campaign, marking a significant milestone in its footballing history and further cementing its status as a rising force in Nigerian football.
According to an official statement, the celebratory event is scheduled to hold on Monday, July 21, 2025, at the Remo Stars Stadium. The ceremony will kick off at 1:00 PM and will bring together players, coaching staff, management officials, supporters, and football stakeholders.
Club President and Chairman, Kunle Soname, will lead the felicitation and personally host the team in appreciation of their dedication, teamwork, and exceptional performance throughout the season.
“This is not just a celebration of victory; it is a celebration of vision, discipline, and the relentless pursuit of excellence,” the statement read.
The event is expected to serve as a moment of pride and reflection for the Remo Stars family, who have continued to build a legacy of excellence within Nigerian football.
