This same way ADC is springing up was the same way the formation of APC in the late 2013 was conceived, bred and villified by the then rulling political party, PDP. APC was alleged, “Janjaweed, Sharia Party, the association of Political harlots, betrayers, what brought them together would soon scatter them,…..”.
And, for exposition, no any political party, since the emergence of the current political party in federal government which plays politics of betrayal resulting from “birds of a feather that flock together” than the current political party in the center. In its foundation and formation are different people, different political orientations, the ones with inordinate desires for wealth accumulation, tribalists, opportunists, name them. If President Bola Ahmed Tinubu didn’t win the last presidential election of 2027, Nigerians would have been exposed to the EVILS of of “the birds of a feather”, that formed the APC background! Thereafter the winning of 2023 election, awarding minister to a political heavy-weight of PDP, to some observers, amounts to betrayal, though the ardent supporters of APC do not see it that way. Luring other governors from rival political party with promises of “burying of corruption cases in courts, securing second terms, direct engagement of the governors on the rival political platforms for one’s Political gains ,” etc – what do you call those ones? Act of the godly? To some, and largely, politicians of the the APC extraction and their unrepentant fans, they call those actions, “political tactics or political gimmicks”, don’t they ?
Noted should it be, as I always assert, that failure of the living is a factor that propels the living seeking the Intervention of the dead in their worldly affairs, when their aspirations cannot be guaranteed by their fellow living. Should ADC be clamoured for or any other political party should be called upon as Messianic party if the prices of essential commodities aren’t soaring, insecurity isn’t becoming the norm in some parts of the country, economic growth isn’t on the newspapers, more Nigerians aren’t becoming poverty-stricken – all as a result of the APC in power ?
To the APC – lead Federal Government, kill the emergence of the infantile African Democratic Congress with robust policies on insecurity which ravages some states in Nigeria. Let this be reduced on the ground, not on newspapers. Kill the zeal and flares some Nigerians are developing for the opposition ADC with reduction in the prices of the essential commodities, imported goods, and all other basic necessities to EASE the burdens placed on them through the socio-political and economic policies placed on ground since your emergence in 2023. No common man has any interest in political power and who wields it so far they can travel/move from their homes and back home without threat to their securities. Once they can afford a certain square meals per day; they see economic growth your government has initiated to better their livings in their lives, not on the news; the common political dividends trickle to them, etc, less would any government spend on propaganda to dissuade or sway their emotions while no governor or individual would pocket the money meant for the masses in the names of “buying them to one’s political party”.
