A concerned resident, Otunba Kolawole Faniran, has raised alarm over the dilapidated state of Alonge Police Station, Oworonshoki, under Area H Command, Ogudu, Lagos.

Speaking to KosofePost, Otunba Faniran, described the facility as unfit for officers to work in, citing leaking roofs, cracked walls, makeshift furniture, poor sanitary conditions, and litter-filled surroundings.

“Alonge Police Station Oworonshoki is in a really terrible state. We need the government to renovate that station. Our police officers cannot be working under these conditions,” the resident said.

Photographs made available to KosofePost also revealed the dire condition of the station, underscoring the need for urgent government intervention.

The call comes amid wider concerns about the poor state of police infrastructure across Lagos State and the impact on the effectiveness of law enforcement operations.
