Londoners have been advised to avoid Central London, especially the Parliament area, on Saturday, September 13, as a mass protest expected to attract nearly one million demonstrators takes place.
The advisory, issued by lawyer Tokunbo Olagbaiye on Friday, cautioned that the demonstration could escalate into an aggravated protest, posing potential risks to residents, commuters, and visitors.
“Please avoid Central London, particularly the Parliament area, tomorrow, Saturday 13th September 2025, if possible. A scheduled protest is expected to draw around one million people and may escalate into an aggravated demonstration. For your safety, please avoid the areas along the procession route,” Olagbaiye said.
Authorities have warned of possible traffic disruptions, restricted access, and heavy police presence across major routes leading into Westminster.
Residents and commuters are urged to plan ahead, monitor official updates, and consider alternative travel routes.
