The Ibeju-Lekki Local Government, led by Executive Chairman Hon. (Engr.) Abdullahi Sesan Olowa, has announced plans to host its first Monthly Online Community Meeting on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, at 10:00 a.m.
According to a statement from the council’s media office, the virtual town hall will provide residents with a platform to engage directly with the local government on key issues such as infrastructure development, public safety initiatives, and sustainable growth strategies, in line with the administration’s S.H.I.E.E.L.D. agenda.
The session will be live-streamed on the council’s official social media platforms — including X Spaces (formerly Twitter), Instagram, and Facebook — to ensure broad participation.
“This town hall is more than just a meeting — it is a platform for inclusive governance where residents’ voices will help shape decisions and drive progress,” the statement signed by Akadiri Ayorinde, Media Office of the Executive Chairman, read.
The meeting, the council added, is aimed at strengthening transparency, fostering collaboration, and promoting open dialogue between residents and the local government. Participants will be able to ask questions, share feedback, and contribute to ongoing development plans.
Residents are encouraged to join the conversation and take part in shaping the future of Ibeju-Lekki.
