Oworonshoki Demolition: Stakeholders’ Meeting to Hold at Oloworo’s Palace

The KosofePost can authoritatively confirm that a crucial stakeholders’ meeting has been scheduled to address compensation for victims of the recent demolition exercise in Oworonshoki.

The meeting will take place on Sunday, September 28, at 10 a.m. at the palace of the Oloworo of Oworonshoki, HRM Oba Babatunde Saliu, Elebo II.

According to reliable sources, the session will bring together affected landlords and residents whose houses were demolished or marked for demolition, alongside key government officials.

Expected attendees include the lawmaker representing Kosofe Constituency 1, Hon. Sanni Ganiu Okanlawon; officials of the Lagos State Building Control Agency (LASBCA); the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Urban Development, Mr. Oki; representatives of other ministries, departments, and agencies; as well as community stakeholders.

The agenda will centre on compensation packages and other matters arising from the demolition, which has displaced several residents in Oworonshoki.
