Tai Lolade Salvador has written a touching tribute in memory of his late twin brother, Kenny, describing him as his “first love, confidant, rock, and aburo.”
In a heartfelt Facebook post on Monday, Salvador reflected on their shared bond and the enduring pain of losing his twin, noting that the values and strength instilled in him by Kenny have continued to shape his life.
“Since I came first to the world but it’s been many years now you left me to lead. But you’ve instilled rock in me and I trust you that you’ve not left me alone to carry or fight any battles,” Salvador wrote.
He prayed for his late brother’s eternal rest in the “Paradise of Peace” and extended gratitude to their late mother, fondly remembered as Iya Ibeji.
Salvador also used the tribute to remind his followers of the importance of cherishing loved ones while they are still alive.
“Celebrate all the loved ones in your life and make it your priority to get the best of life. Happy new week,” he added.
The post, which was accompanied by an old photograph of the twins, has since attracted an outpouring of emotional comments from friends, family, and followers, many of whom joined in remembering Kenny and offering words of comfort to Salvador.
