The first Executive Secretary of Ikosi-Isheri Local Government Development Area (LCDA), Chief Afolabi Kazeem, popularly known as ABK, has applauded the council chairman, Princess Semiat Abolanle Bada, for her outstanding performance in the first 100 days of her second term in office.
Speaking on Wednesday before the commissioning of four key roads in Folawiyo Estate, Ikosi — namely Princess Samiat Abolanle Bada Street, Solomon Niran Aluko Street, Bello Folawiyo Street, and Yetunde Owoseni Street — ABK praised the chairman for her commitment to infrastructure development across the LCDA.
Kazeem expressed confidence that at the current pace, the chairman could achieve between 80 to 85 percent road completion within the next three years of her second term.

“I sincerely want to thank God for giving the chairman the courage to deliver a number of projects in the first 100 days of her second term,” he said. “This is commendable and the kind of progress that the people want in Ikosi-Isheri LCDA. She has been performing well, she listens to advice, and she is doing exactly what good leadership requires.”
He noted that in just 100 days, the chairman had commissioned multiple roads, with more expected before the week’s end. ABK pledged continued support and guidance, assuring that the chairman’s efforts would lead to the full rehabilitation of all roads in the local government.
He also advised that the council should set up a dedicated committee to monitor and maintain the newly constructed roads and other public assets to ensure sustainability.
“We will continue to support Princess Bada because she is making us proud and bringing the dividends of democracy to the people of this council,” he added. “This is exactly what we expect from political officeholders — to positively impact the lives of residents and communities.”

Reflecting on his tenure as executive secretary, ABK noted that some of the roads now completed were ones he had planned to execute but could not. He expressed gratitude to Princess Bada for actualizing those projects, describing her leadership as a model for effective local governance.
He concluded by thanking the residents of Folawiyo Estate and the entire Ikosi-Isheri community for their continued support of the chairman’s administration.
