Court documents obtained by KosofePost on Monday indicate that the suit was filed at the High Court of Lagos State, Ikeja Judicial Division. In the writ, Ogunlewe is listed as the claimant, while Saliu Marufdeen Adekunle, also known as “Africa,” is named as the defendant.

The court document directs the defendant to enter an appearance within 42 days after service of the writ, warning that failure to do so could result in judgment being entered in his absence.

According to the filing, the suit arises from publications deemed defamatory by the claimant. Sources say the legal action followed unsuccessful efforts to obtain a public retraction and apology prior to commencing proceedings.

As of reporting, no official statement or response has been released by the defendant. The case is expected to test both political and legal recourse in managing disputes within party structures at the local government level.
