A historic royal visit unfolded at the Agboyi Palace as His Royal Majesty, Oba Abdul Hakeem Babatunde Balogun, the Olu of Warewa in Ifo Local Government Area, led a distinguished delegation on a homage visit to the Agboyi Kingdom.

The visiting monarch and his entourage were warmly received by His Royal Majesty, Oba Monsuru Abimbola Oladega (Akinmasa I), the 4th Olu of Agboyi Kingdom, alongside palace chiefs and prominent community leaders.

During the engagement, the Olu of Warewa described the occasion as a heartfelt homecoming, noting that it marked his return to the community after a long period of absence. He commended the visible development and progress recorded in Agboyi under the leadership of the Agboyi monarch.

In his royal remarks, the Olu of Agboyi offered guidance to the Warewa monarch, stressing the importance of sustaining peace, harmony and unity among his subjects. He emphasised that effective traditional leadership must be rooted in dialogue, tolerance and mutual respect.

The Agboyi monarch also expressed appreciation for the visit, describing it as a strong symbol of brotherhood and renewed traditional ties. Both rulers reaffirmed their commitment to continued cooperation, mutual support and stronger collaboration between their kingdoms.
