Law Corridor, a leading Nigerian law firm, has announced that one of its partners, Pelumi Olajengbesi, has stepped aside from the firm due to his involvement in political activities and aspiration for public service.
In an official statement released by the firm’s management, the move was described as in accordance with the firm’s Articles of Governance, which uphold a long-standing policy of political neutrality.
The statement, signed by Deputy Managing Partner Ganiyu Ajibola Bello, noted that the firm’s leadership considered it appropriate for Olajengbesi to temporarily step aside while pursuing his political ambitions.
“Mr. Olajengbesi, a Partner of the Firm, has stepped aside from the Firm in view of his political activities and his aspirations for public service,” the statement read.
Despite the development, Law Corridor reaffirmed its commitment to delivering sector-focused legal services through its team of partners and lawyers across various practice groups.
The firm also expressed appreciation to Olajengbesi for his contributions to its growth and development, while wishing him success in his future public service endeavors.
