The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Agboyi-Ketu Local Council Development Area (LCDA) has convened a stakeholders’ meeting scheduled for Thursday, June 11, 2026, as part of efforts to reinforce internal cohesion and strategic alignment ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The meeting, initiated by the Apex Leader of the party in the area, Chief Stephen Adeola Oyedele, will take place at the APC Secretariat located at 40/42 Doyin Omololu Street, Alapere, by 4:00 PM. Party leaders say the gathering is designed to provide an avenue for reflection, renewed engagement, and collective repositioning following the recently concluded primary elections.

With the theme “Together in Unity, Stronger in Victory,” the session is being positioned as both a reconciliation and mobilisation forum aimed at strengthening party unity at the grassroots level and ensuring coordinated support for the APC’s candidates.

Political observers, however, note that beyond its formal framing, the meeting comes at a delicate post-primary moment in which internal grievances and realignments are still being managed across several party structures within Kosofe and its local councils.

The development reflects a broader pattern of reconciliation-driven engagements across the constituency, including similar unity-building and interfaith gatherings recently held in Ikosi-Isheri LCDA for APC candidates, as stakeholders seek to stabilise the party ahead of the next electoral cycle.

The invitation, which has circulated widely among party members, highlights a unified front involving key figures such as Chief Oyedele and the APC House of Representatives candidate for Kosofe Federal Constituency, Mayor Dele Oshinowo.

As preparations intensify toward 2027, the meeting is expected to help consolidate grassroots alignment, address post-primary tensions, and reinforce commitment to the party’s electoral objectives across all levels.
