Stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Agboyi-Ketu Local Council Development Area (LCDA) have held a strategic meeting to strengthen party unity and mobilise grassroots support ahead of the forthcoming elections.

The meeting brought together party leaders, members, community stakeholders and political candidates, with discussions centred on strengthening the party’s grassroots structure and preparing for the electoral contests ahead.

Speaking at the gathering, Mayor Dele Oshinowo, the APC candidate for the House of Representatives in the Kosofe Federal Constituency, stressed the importance of early mobilisation and coordinated efforts in securing electoral victories at various levels.

“We reflected on where we are, set the tone for the task ahead, and, most importantly, reminded ourselves of the work required to deliver victory for our party, our leader and President, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and all our candidates,” Oshinowo said.

A major highlight of the meeting was the inauguration and swearing-in of newly elected party executives, formally charging them with responsibilities for party administration and grassroots mobilisation within the LCDA.

Party leaders also outlined plans to expand their outreach across communities in the Kosofe area, with an emphasis on strengthening voter engagement and projecting the party’s electoral strength.

The gathering also featured expressions of support for Oshinowo’s House of Representatives bid, alongside support for Dr. Seriki Muritala.

Oshinowo said the turnout demonstrated the party’s growing momentum in the area and expressed confidence in the work ahead.

“The groundwork has begun, and we are taking the message to every corner. The people are ready,” he added.
