Mayor Dele Oshinowo, the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for the Kosofe Federal Constituency seat in the House of Representatives, has urged voters to support the party’s candidates across all levels of government in the 2027 elections.
Oshinowo made the appeal in a public declaration to constituents, describing the election as an opportunity to secure coordinated representation and promote development across Kosofe.
He said the constituency needed “strong, united, and purposeful representation” at every level of government, arguing that collaboration among elected officials would help attract development and resources to the area.
“The future of Kosofe demands more than promises; it demands strong, united, and purposeful representation at every level of government,” Oshinowo said.
“For us, this election is bigger than one candidate. It is about building a team of committed leaders who understand our people, believe in the progress of our communities, and are ready to work together for a greater Kosofe.”
The APC candidate called on voters to support the party’s candidates from the presidential election to the Lagos State House of Assembly.
The candidates listed by Oshinowo are Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu for President, Dr. Kadiri Obafemi Hamzat for Governor of Lagos State, Senator Tokunbo Abiru for the Lagos East Senatorial District, Oshinowo for the Kosofe Federal Constituency seat, Hon. Okanlawon Ganiyu Sanni for Kosofe Constituency I in the Lagos State House of Assembly, and Dr. Muritala Seriki for Kosofe Constituency II.
Oshinowo said political alignment between the executive and legislative arms of government would be important to delivering development projects and other resources to Kosofe.
“From the Presidency to the State Government, the Senate, the National Assembly, and our State House of Assembly, we need a united team that can work together and deliver results for Kosofe,” he said.
He subsequently rallied supporters around the campaign message, “One team. One purpose.”
Oshinowo’s call comes as political parties and their candidates intensify mobilisation ahead of the 2027 general elections.
