Ahead of the 2027 general elections, the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for the Kosofe Federal Constituency, Mayor Dele Oshinowo, has appointed two serving local government chairmen as Campaign Directors for his campaign teams across the constituency.
The Executive Chairman of Kosofe Local Government, Hon. Moyosore Ogunlewe, was appointed Campaign Director for Kosofe Local Government, while the Executive Chairman of Agboyi-Ketu Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Hon. Mrs. Adunni Adetola Abubakar, will oversee the campaign in Agboyi-Ketu.
The appointments are expected to strengthen the campaign’s grassroots mobilisation and coordination ahead of the election.
Ogunlewe, who heads Kosofe Local Government, is expected to coordinate stakeholders and party members across the local government and leverage his knowledge of the area to strengthen engagement with residents and party supporters.
Abubakar, meanwhile, brings her experience as the head of Agboyi-Ketu LCDA to the campaign, with her role expected to focus on coordinating grassroots mobilisation and consolidating support across the council area.
The appointments form part of efforts by the Oshinowo campaign to establish a coordinated political structure across the various local government areas and LCDAs that make up the Kosofe Federal Constituency.
The campaign is expected to focus on grassroots engagement, stakeholder mobilisation and communicating Oshinowo’s agenda to voters ahead of the 2027 election.
The campaign team has adopted the slogan, “Stronger Representation, Stronger Kosofe,” as it begins preparations for the election.
