The All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for the Kosofe Federal Constituency House of Representatives seat, Mayor Dele Oshinowo, has stepped up engagement with party executives across Kosofe as preparations for the 2027 general elections intensify.
Oshinowo recently held a strategy meeting with APC executive members from Kosofe Local Government and its constituent wards, with discussions focused on strengthening party structures, coordinating ward-level mobilisation and expanding grassroots engagement across the constituency.

The meeting was hosted and coordinated by Hon. Moyosore Ogunlewe, Executive Chairman of Kosofe Local Government and Director of the Mayor Dele Oshinowo (MDO) Campaign Team for Kosofe. Ogunlewe also serves as South-West Zonal Director for Youth Mobilisation under the APC Presidential Campaign Council.
Addressing party officials after the meeting, Oshinowo said the campaign would focus on reaching voters across communities, wards and neighbourhoods under its “Stronger Representation, Stronger Kosofe” platform.

“The groundwork is intensifying, and our executives are ready to hold their zones tight and deliver the support needed for victory,” Oshinowo said.
He added: “Our message is clear: we are coming to every community, every ward, and every corner of Kosofe under our banner of ‘Stronger Representation, Stronger Kosofe.’”
The meeting also provided an opportunity for party executives to align on grassroots mobilisation and campaign coordination ahead of the election.
Party supporters responded to the candidate’s address with chants of “It’s Mayor O’Clock!”, reflecting the enthusiasm among attendees.
The engagement comes as political parties in Kosofe increasingly activate their grassroots structures ahead of the 2027 elections, with ward-level organisation expected to play a significant role in the campaign season.
