Comrade Abdulwaheed Odunuga, the NNPP candidate for the Kosofe Federal Constituency, has received an award of excellence at the 3rd Annual Ramadan Lecture of Jamahiyatu Monial Shereef LiDAWATIL ISLAMIYYAH (JAMSHAD) held at Kosofe Local Government on Saturday. The event was held in Lagos.
Odunuga expressed his appreciation to the organizers for selecting him as one of the recipients and said that the award was a motivation to do more for the community. He attributed the award to his commitment to humanity and the good of the people.
The candidate also commended the organizers for their wonderful work and urged other organizations and individuals to emulate their efforts in promoting unity and educating the public.
Odunuga stated that although he lost the election, he and his team had been changing the narrative in Kosofe, and that had been their message to the people. He added that he would continue to criticize the government constructively to ensure that governance returns to the people.
He advised the Kosofe Rep-elect, Mrs. Kafilat Ogbara, to focus on the needs of the people and strive to put smiles on their faces. He promised to continue to support the community and be an active part of it.
