President Muhammadu Buhari GCFR has conferred the coveted Special National Honours on two prominent personalities from Kosofe, an area of Lagos State. The ceremony, which took place in Abuja, saw a total of 340 Nigerians receiving various prestigious honors.
Among the distinguished recipients from Kosofe were Senator Olorunnimbe Mamora, the Minister of Science and Technology, who was bestowed with the Commander of the Order of Niger (CON). Additionally, Honorable Adekunle Soname, former Council Chairman and president of Remo Stars FC, was honored with the Officer of the Order of the Niger (OON).
The announcement of these awards was met with jubilation by the residents of Kosofe, as well as the recipients’ home state of Ogun.
